Selection Criteria
Candidates must be working on the completion of a college degree in one of the following Engineering, Science or Business disciplines.
- Engineering:
Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear. - Science or Business:
Business/Related, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Environmental, Geological, Health Physics, Management Information, Systems, Physics. - This program is open to all students that meet the minimum qualifications.
- Selection criteria will be based on:
- Grade point average.
- Degree program matches scope of work.
- Previous internships.
- Recommendations.
Qualifications and eligibility requirements
Interns accepted into the Student Internship Program must provide a copy of their unofficial transcripts or degree audit report for verification purposes.
Interns must meet the following qualifications:
1. US Citizenship.
2. Maintain a 2.5 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
3. Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship.
4. Completed at least two quarters/semesters of college education prior to the internship.
5. Enrolled as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship. (Must provide formal college transcripts for verification of enrollment, GPA, etc.).
