Candidates must be working on the completion of a college degree in one of the following Engineering, Science or Business disciplines.
Engineering
Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear.
Science or Business
Business/Related, Chemistry, Communications, Computer Science, Environmental, Geological, Health Physics, Management Information, Systems, Physics.
Qualifications and eligibility requirements
(Interns accepted into the Washington Closure Hanford Student Internship Program must provide a copy of their unofficial transcripts or degree audit report for verification purposes.)
Interns must meet the following qualifications:
- US Citizenship
- Maintain a 2.5 GPA
- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the internship
- Completed at least two quarters/semesters of college education prior to the internship
- Enrolled as a full-time student (12+ credit hours) during the two quarters/semesters immediately preceding the start of the internship. *You may be required to submit an updated transcript prior to being considered for employment.
